Level 2 and 4 Quests
🎮 **Add more options to your Darkest Dungeon adventure! **
This module cleverly fills the original mission level gaps in the game, adding Level 2 (Adventurer) and Level 4 (Master) missions. This is the perfect solution for players who feel that completely removing level restrictions is a bit overboard, but want more team building flexibility!

✨ Core Functions
- **New task levels**: Level 2 and 4 tasks are smoothly inserted between the original level 1, 3, 5, and 6 tasks.
- **Maintain Level Restrictions**: I **have not** modified the restrictions for other level quests, and the new level 2 and 4 quests also follow the original rules - you can still only carry heroes that are **no higher than quest level 1**. This gives you more opportunities to mix level 3 and 5 heroes with lower level heroes!
⚔️ Mission difficulty and rewards
- **Monster Combination**: In level 2 and 4 missions, the **formation form** of the monsters you encounter will be the same as in higher level missions, but the **monsters themselves will be one level weaker**.
- **Example**: A level 2 mission will generate the same monster pack as a level 3 mission, but the monsters inside will be the level 1 "apprentice" version instead of the level 3 "veteran" version.
- **Awaken sleeping monsters**: This mechanism cleverly utilizes various basic monster types that exist but are not used in the original game, such as base-level ghouls, large ghouls, giants, etc.
- **Just the right difficulty**: Through the above design, the difficulty of level 2 and level 4 tasks will be **perfectly between adjacent task levels**, making the experience very smooth.
- **Loots and Rewards**: The configuration of mission rewards and dungeon loot is also set to the **middle value of adjacent mission levels**, which is fair and reasonable.
🌍 Compatibility information
- **Multi-Language Support**: Localized for all in-game languages.
- **DLC Compatibility**:
- Perfectly compatible with the original game and the "Crown of the Mountain" DLC.
*Basically compatible with the "Scarlet Palace" DLC, but **occasionally** a blank task icon will appear when generating a task (it does not affect the plot tasks and will not slow down the progress).
- **Mod Compatibility**:
- **Not Compatible** Any mod that adds new dungeons.
- **Exception**: I've specifically made it compatible with the **"Town Wars"** mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
