Barbarian skin for the Leper

🛡️ Module Introduction

Added a new **fifth skin** for the Leper class in Darkest Dungeon - **Barbarian Style**! This skin brings a new look and weapon model, inspired by a request from community member **devildriver79**.

✨ Main features

  • **New Appearance**: Completely changed the look of the leper, giving it a wild savage look.
  • **Unique Weapons**: Comes with new weapon models that match the Barbarian theme.
  • **Stand-alone installation**: Will not overwrite any existing skins or color schemes.

⚠️ Known things

  • **Virtue Art**: Making Virtue art for custom skins is cumbersome, so I made some **"placeholder" art** that I hope you can accept.
  • **Skill Effect Alignment**: The effects for the skills **Solemnity**, **Withstand** and **Revenge** may not align perfectly with this skin model. While it **will not cause the game to crash**, the visual effects may be poor, so it is recommended to avoid using these skills when using this skin.

🛠️ Installation Guide

  • Place the module folder into the following directory:

`C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DarkestDungeon\heroes`

  • If you have installed other custom color schemes or skins, just change the letters at the end of this folder name to distinguish them.

💝 Acknowledgments and Sharing

This skin is based on a creative request from **devildriver79**. Hope you like it!

I also encourage other modders to use these resources to create a complete **Barbarian class mod**. Please remember to cite the source of the resources when using them.

**Update Log**:
* Made a lot of visual adjustments. I will apply these changes to a different color scheme when I have time, but in the meantime, please enjoy the current version!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
