Guqin professional module

This mod adds a custom profession - the harpsichordist, a hybrid profession that combines glass cannon and support abilities.

✨ Career introduction

The Guqinist is a trained musical performer who wields a hybrid weapon that is both a crossbow and a guqin (an ancient musical instrument from which the profession takes its name). Since her weapons are still in the prototype stage, they wear out quickly with each use.

In battle, the guqinist plays the role of a **glass cannon**, causing devastating blows to the enemy's back row while providing healing and buffing effects to his teammates. She is very easy to be "killed in one hit" and relies heavily on the protection of her teammates.

**advantage:**

• 💥 **High damage**, especially to the enemy's back row.
• 🛡️ **Can play a supporting role**.

**shortcoming:**

• ❤️ **Extremely low health (HP) and speed (SPD)**.
• 🛡️ **Weak defense**. Lack of skills/trinkets that increase dodge, defense, health, or aegis.
• 🤝 **Extremely dependent on being protected**.

**"Color of Madness" DLC Features - On Critical Hit:** Gain a +5% ranged damage buff that lasts for 1 battle to offset the -5% ranged damage debuff each time the weapon is fired.

💡 **Tips:** Since the Guinnablow's animations are based on the Antiquarian's, she can also be used as an **alternative skin** for the Antiquarian if you don't want this new profession.

⚔️ Combat Skills

• **Longbow Shot** - The harpist's basic ranged attack. If guarded, gain bonus armor penetration. Each shot depletes the weapon and lasts until the end of the battle. This debuff cannot be removed.

• **Lightning Strike** - A preparation skill that does not end the turn. She will move back 1 position, gain an accuracy (ACC) buff, **increase the healing effect of vampire arrows**, and ignore sneaking enemies for 1 round. Each use causes the weapon to wear out in some way, and the effects last until the end of the battle. This debuff cannot be removed.

• **Counter-Tuning** - Forces a teammate to guard her, slightly reduces the teammate's pressure, and applies the "**Cannot Be Marked**" buff that lasts for 3 rounds. The protective effect lasts until the end of the battle.

• **Lullaby** - Heals a teammate or yourself. If she is guarded, she receives additional healing.

• **Harpoon Thrust** - A melee attack with a chance to knock back the enemy.

• **Vampire Arrow** - A life-draining shot that can heal the guqinist himself and has a small chance of healing his teammates. Each shot depletes the weapon and lasts until the end of the battle. This debuff cannot be removed.

• **Cacophony** - Stuns an enemy and removes the stun effect from your team.

**Installation Guqinist occupation:**

Unzip it into your `DarkestDungeon/mods` folder. Just activate the mod in the game.

**Install Antiquarian Skin:**

Unzip it to another location and check if the filenames (defaults are `antiquarian_Q`, `antiquarian_R`, `antiquarian_S`, and `antiquarian_T`) conflict with your existing Antiquarian skins, then copy them to your `DarkestDungeon/heroes/antiquarian` folder.
