✨ Module Introduction

This mod adds a new skin for the Crusader Hero in Darkest Dungeon, inspired by the iconic **Grey Warden** from the Dragon Age series!

"Originally Crusaders didn't have a Gray Warden skin. I decided to make one myself."

In addition, this mod also supports **Butcher Arena** mode and comes with exclusive death animations. If you want this skin to work perfectly in Arena, check out the compatibility fixes below.

📥 Installation Guide

• The module folder is named **"Grey Warden Crusader Skin"**.
• Extract the folder from the downloaded zip package and place it in your game Mods directory.
• Activate it in the module management menu in the game.

**Skin internal name**: `grey_warden_crusader_A`

⚙️ Butcher Arena compatibility fix

**IMPORTANT NOTE**: This fix** is only for players who are concerned about the death animation being displayed as a white block in the Arena settlement screen. A full fix requires **replacing a default skin**. If you don't mind this display issue, you don't need to do the following.

In Arena, characters animate normally when they die, but the resolution screen may appear as a white square. Here’s how to fix it:

**Operating steps**:

• **Rename skin file**: Rename the `grey_warden_crusader_A` folder in the module to one of the default skin names you want to replace (`crusader_A` / `crusader_B` / `crusader_C` / `crusader_D`).
• **Copy death animation**: Copy the death animation file `crusader.sprite.dead` in the module folder to the corresponding directory of Butcher Arena.
• **Target Path**: `DarkestDungeon > dlc > 1117860_arena_mp > heroes > crusader > [default skin folder you choose to replace] > anim`
• **(Optional) Rename the original skin**: Rename the original default skin folder you replaced to `grey_warden_crusader_A`.
• *Note: This will cause the replaced skin to not display the death animation properly in Arena, but everything will work fine in other modes of the game. *
