Epic Loading Screens
Tired of waiting for the same thing? Make the loading process epic too! 🎮
✨ Module information
The default loading screen is a bit tedious. This mod replaces them all with more interesting versions!
- **Immersive Experience**: Each loading screen matches the atmosphere of the dungeon and reflects combat scenarios with the most common enemies.
- **Town Screen Refresh**: The town loading screen has been replaced with an immersive image depicting all the heroes fighting in an epic battle (this is my favorite piece of work and took two full days to create!).
🖼️ How it works
This mod replaces a total of **6** loading screen images, all made by me.
📥 Installation Guide

- Paste it into the `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common` directory.
- Select the replacement file.
🗑️ Uninstall method
- Open the "backup" folder.
- Copy the "DarkestDungeon" folder inside.
- Paste it into the `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common` directory and replace the files.

**Warm Tips**: It is recommended to back up the original files before installation so that you can restore the original screen at any time. Enjoy a cooler waiting time!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
