Economic adjustments (real estate building upgrades, item costs)
Economy Balance Mod
🎮 **Mod Introduction**
This is the initial version of this mod. Balance adjustments are an ongoing process that will advance alongside game development itself.
✨ Core Functions
The **key feature** of this mod is balancing estate construction, upgrade costs, and inventory/store item prices.
⚠️ **PLEASE NOTE**: This mod is **not** intended to balance any skills/buffs, heroes, or enemies. Trinkets may be balanced in future releases, but that won't happen until the game is fully released (out of Early Access).
💡Original design intention
I feel like this game needs a better "gold cost" mechanic because currently it's just too easy to get all the upgrades and the fun of weighing your options is missing.
🔧 Compatibility and Archiving
- Files modified by the mod are listed in the change log.
- The mod **does** not affect any hero or enemy files, so the "Economic Balance" mod can be used with other large game-modifying mods.
- This mod **should** be compatible with any save you have currently (version #7635), as no new content is added (or removed) in the code, just values are changed. Of course, I cannot guarantee this 100%.

📋 List of adjustment contents

- **Purchase/Sale Price of Item**
- **Cost and resources required for upgrade**
- **If you abandon the mission, you will lose 15% of the gold coins collected**

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
