🎯 Module function
I appreciate the design philosophy of negative quirks and the extra challenges they bring, so I don't want to simply remove all negative quirks. However, I do dislike some of them so much that I made this mod to disable **some** but not all of the negative quirks, specifically, those that **force the character to act** in the instance.
🔧 **PLEASE NOTE:** I did not remove these quirks, I just disabled them from being selected. This means:
- These quirks will no longer appear on new heroes recruited from Stagecoach.
- These quirks will not be acquired after the mission is over.
- **However**, the starting character Reynauld's penchant for stealing still exists.
- If you already have a hero on your team with these Quirks, they will not disappear.
💡 **Simply put**: Dismas just learned not to hire thieves and those who are overly curious.
⚠️ **Known Things**: Based on new reports, I discovered that it is still possible for these quirks to be forced onto characters through stressful events or interactions. I might look into a solution, but in order to avoid modifying too many files (and disturbing the rest of the world), I might choose to keep the status quo.
📜 **List of quirks adjusted by this mod:**
- Ablutomania, Bloodthirsty, Compulsive
- Dacnomania, Dark Temptation, Demonomania
- Dipsomania, Egomania, Guilty Conscience
- Hagiomania, Hieromania, Hylomania
- Kleptomaniac, Necromania, Paranormania
- Plutomania, Sitiomania

🐛 About Bug
This is a beta mod. I'm fairly new to Darkest Dungeon's code, and while all I did was change the random occurrence chance of the relevant quirk to 0, it seemed simple enough. I haven't encountered a situation where these quirks have appeared yet, but I can't 100% guarantee that the mod works exactly as expected. So testing and feedback are very welcome!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
