Dark Ages Plague Doctor
✨ **A new appearance mod for the Plague Doctor character in Darkest Dungeon! **
Tired of the original Plague Doctor look? This mod brings you two unique medieval-themed skins to give your plague doctor a brand new look in the dark dungeon!
---
🎨Mod content
This mod contains two versions of the Plague Doctor skin:
- **Black Version**: Classic and mysterious, perfectly suited to the oppressive atmosphere of the dungeon.
- **Red version**: Eye-catching and dangerous, like an ominous blood color in the dark.
Both skins draw inspiration from history, recreating the Plague Doctor’s iconic beak mask and robes to bring a more medieval-style visual experience.

📥 Installation Guide
The installation process is very simple:
- Unzip the downloaded file.

- **The usual path is**: `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DarkestDungeon\heroes\plague_doctor`

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
