Shadow Dancer class mod v1.2
✨ **Welcome to In the Shadows! ** This mod brings a new custom hero to Darkest Dungeon - **Shadow Dancer**. She is an expert at stalking in the shadows and is especially good at disarming traps.
🎭Professional features
- **Independent appearance**: Shadow Dancer will join your team through Stagecoach like other heroes.
- **Flexible positioning**: She is a **lightweight, non-religious** hero who can coordinate well with any member of the team.
- **Shadow Master**: In addition to combat skills, she can also **reduce the brightness** of torches during combat, bringing more changes to tactics.
⚔️ Skill List
Shadow Dancer has the following unique skills:
- **Shadow Step** - Melee attack, attacks the **1st** enemy.
- **Veil of Shadow** - Summons darkness (**Reduces torch brightness**). Gain effect.
- **Sneak Attack** - Melee attack, damage bonus, **only attacks the 4th** enemy. Get debuffs on yourself.
- **Hidden in the City** - Self-gain.
- **Strange Dodge** - Dodge buff.
- **Shadow Heal** - Self-heal.
- **Shadow Pounce** - Attacks the **2nd and 3rd** enemies with low damage and additional **bleed** effect.
📜 Update log
- **v1.2**: Fixed the display error of the "Shadow Veil" skill name.
- **v1.1**: Cleaned up uncoordinated pixels and spots in the image, and optimized the fit of the upper body and lower body. Added bleed effect to Shadow Step. There are now 3 attack skills with bleed. It has been tested in the game and works fine.

🙏 **Special Thanks**: A big thank you to **actionjack** for allowing me to use his original drawing of an assassin as the basis for this class.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
