🎯 Career positioning

The Conqueror is a direct damage support class that can focus on melee or ranged combat. His melee damage may not be as good as the Leper Swordsman's, and his long-range damage may not be as good as the Musketeer's, but you don't have to worry about him being pushed to the back or front row - because his versatile arsenal of swords, spears, and muskets allows him to deal damage from **any position**.

He is also good at disrupting the enemy's formation, and his many skills can **disrupt the enemy's queue** and **reduce their movement and stun resistance**.

**💡 Tips**: To keep with the theme, Conquistadors sometimes speak Spanish, so don’t worry if your language pack displays weirdly.

⚔️ Combat Skills

• **Corte Doblado** - Basic melee attack. **High initial damage** and increased speed, but the damage will decrease with each use.
• **Embate** - Basic stun attack. **Reduce target attack power**.
• **Blandir Lanza** - A melee attack that **hits a random target** and knocks it out of position.
• **Marcha Penetrante** - Impale the first two rows of enemies and **lower their defense**. Move the conqueror **forward**. The second target takes less damage than the first target.
• **Fuego!** - Basic ranged attack. Deals more damage to **bleed** and **marked** targets.
• **Granada** - Throws a grenade that **damages enemies in the middle row** and reduces their movement and stun resistance.
• **Formación en Tercio** - A ranged attack that **disrupts the first three rows of enemies** and pushes the conquerors to the back row. Applies a **Melee Counterattack** effect that knocks back attackers.

🏕️ Camp Skills

• **Solemn Prayer** - **Cures Stress** and increases stress resistance.
• **Search For Treasure** - **Get two trinkets**, but reduce the probability of virtue check.
• **Mission Fervor** - **Increases team speed** and heals stress for **religious professions**.
• **Pike and Shot Tactics** - **Increase range attack hit rate** and **Melee attack critical hit damage**. **Increase movement resistance**.

💰 Special abilities

Conqueror can also **increase the number of stacks of gold coins that can be carried in the backpack**, but the effect is not as significant as **Antiquities**.

😈 Determination Check

Conquerors have two exclusive determination states:

• **Zealous (Virtue)** - **Increases speed and damage** while applying a speed buff and healing stress.
• **Rapacious** - **Increases gold discovery rate, detection rate and speed**, but **reduces trap resistance, pressure resistance and hit rate**. Has a **high probability of attacking teammates** and taking random actions.
