Slasher Pig Abomination
🎉 **Hello everyone! ** This is the first skin/mod I've uploaded and I think it works pretty well! Like all skins I make, it's mostly repurposed in-game images and sprites.
✨ Module introduction
This is a new look for the hero **"Mutant"** in Darkest Dungeon. Inspired by the game's enemies **The Butcher Pig** and the boss **The Predator**, the hero is transformed into a more ferocious and threatening form!
📂 Installation instructions
Installation is very simple:
- Move the file to the `heros/abomination` folder in your Darkest Dungeon game directory.
- If you already have a skin named `abomination P`, just rename it to something else!
⚠️ Known issues
There is currently a known graphics bug:
- **Sprites in tortured state** are not displayed properly.
🤔 If anyone finds a fix, please do let me know!
🎮 Usage suggestions
- If you want your mutant hero to look more like a terrifying monster from the abyss, this skin is definitely your best choice!
- Perfectly blends with the dark gothic style of the original game without any sense of disobedience.
Hope you guys like this mod! 😊 If you find any other bugs or graphics issues during use, feedback is also welcome.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
