🎨 **Tired of the same old Guards look? ** This module brings you a brand new choice - **Bald Guards**!
✨ Module Introduction
While the original game offered a variety of armor colors for the Praetorian Guards, the portion that could be shown in the character portraits was very limited, resulting in little change. To add variety, I tried making this **bald version** of the Praetorian skin, and I think it turned out pretty well!
📂 Installation instructions
- Copy the downloaded folder to the following game directory:
`Steam > SteamApps > common > DarkestDungeon > heroes > man_at_arms`
- **Use as additional skin**: Just put it in directly.
- **Use as a replacement skin**: If you want to **replace** a default skin with it, change the letter **"M"** in the folder name to one of **A, B, C or D**.
⚠️ **IMPORTANT NOTE**:
- If you have installed other additional skins, please make sure that no other skin folders are named with the letter **"M"** before placing them in this folder.
- If there is a conflict, you can change the **"M"** in this mod to any unoccupied letter.
🛠️ Feedback and plans
If you run into any issues with it, such as **white boxes or halos** (although I think they've all been fixed), be sure to let me know!
💡 **Future Plans**: I plan to make more variants with different **skin colors, armor colors, and beard colors**. The current model uses the default version A armor.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
