About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds a class based on Artorias the Abyss Walker to Darkest Dungeon.
abysswalker
This mod brings a new class to "Darkest Dungeon" inspired by the legendary knight in "Dark Souls" - Artorias the Abyss Walker! 🎮⚔️
**The Abyss Walker** is a knight who follows in the footsteps of the Wolf Knight Artorias: stopping the spread of evil at all costs. Armed with giant swords and invincible, these legendary knights face monsters and realms reminiscent of the abyss. Their exposure to the Abyss corrupted their souls, affecting their demeanor and fighting style. An elegant swordsman? Or a violent berserker? The limits depend on how badly they are corroded…
**STRONGLY RECOMMENDED** Use this character to play under stress (i.e. in a state of torment), somewhere between 100 and 200 stress points. After his pressure exceeds 100, he will get a damage bonus for every 25 points of pressure increase, and he will get a powerful buff in a completely dark environment! 😈

✨ Theme and gameplay
This mod provides the option to switch between two ideal stances: **Guardian of the Realm** and **Abyss-Powered Berserker**. The pressure value represents the corrosion of the abyss. The more pressure you endure, the higher the damage caused. While the character is in his special torture state "**Heroic Resistance**", his Corrupted Stance gains additional benefits.
🗡️ Abilities and skills
The skill is inspired by the legend and boss battle of Artorias the Abyss Walker in "Dark Souls". The effect of the skill changes slightly depending on whether you are in Torment or not.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
