Somber Home of the Lost Monsters
🎨 **Gloomy beautification of the lost monster home**
✨ Module Introduction
**"Lost Monster Home"** is an excellent monster mod on the **Steam Creative Workshop**. As the name suggests, it's a collection of monsters from different modders, and as such, there are some visual inconsistencies between the monsters, both with each other and with the game itself.
Like my other "Somber" series of patches, this mod aims to tweak the sprites to improve visual consistency with the mod and better fit with the art style of Darkest Dungeon.

**Prerequisites**: You must have the original **Home of the Lost Monsters** mod installed first, as my mod only overwrites its sprite files.
**Loading Order**: Please make sure to load this mod **on top** of the original mod.

💡 Game experience
This cosmetic patch will make your "Lost Monster Home" monsters look more "native", reducing the sense of fragmentation between different authors' works, and allowing them to better integrate into the iconic gothic, hand-drawn world of "Darkest Dungeon". Get ready for a more visually unified and atmospheric adventure!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
