CP77 skip main menu

Introduction

Are you testing your mod?
Do you think waiting for the game to launch is a waste of your time?
Are you tired of clicking "Load Game" every time you restart your game?

If so, please consider installing this plugin. It will solve all these problems for you.

It does this by adding several settings that allow you to skip the main menu or load your save directly.

Preview (autoload last save option turned off):

set up

The two newly added options can be found under "Settings -> Gameplay -> Miscellaneous".

  • **Auto Load Last Save Automatically load the last save**

Enabling this option will automatically load your last save when launching the game.

  • **Skip Intro Videos Skip startup videos**

Enabling this option will skip all logo and intro videos when launching the game.

Automatically skip the screen where you press space to continue.

There are two methods:

  • Install Cybercmd

It can be automatically skipped after installation, no additional settings are required.

  • Manually set startup options

Just add `-skipStartScreen` to the game startup options.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
