Invasion grapple improved version

🎯 Module introduction

This is an updated version of the original Invasion grapple mod by **Scissors123454321**, optimized for modern gaming.

⚡ Core Functions

Like the original version, this module provides the option of "invading the network" after the player captures the enemy (requires the network access bay to be equipped). Enemies subdued in this way will be stunned, and can be configured to upload specific types of virus programs to the network.

🔧 Configuration options

Since the number of available virus programs may exceed available slots, the module provides the following configuration options:

  • **Invasion Size**: The number of virus programs available at the same time, up to 10 (Ice Pick is always available). If there are more than 10 viruses available, they will be selected randomly. **Default value is 4**
  • **Auto-Invasion**: Whether to automatically solve the invasion mini-game. **Enabled by default**
  • **Number of automatic intrusions**: Automatically resolve the number of virus programs that invade mini-games. **Default value is 4**

🦠 Available virus programs

Basic set of available virus programs:

  • **Icicle**: Reduces Quick Hack cost on affected enemies. **Always enabled**
  • **Optical Jammer**: Automatically blind enemies when they visually detect you. **Enabled by default**
  • **Group Weakness**: Reduces the enemy's physical resistance. **Enabled by default**
  • **Weapon Jammer**: Disables the affected enemy's weapon when firing at you
  • **Friendly Turrets**: Affected turrets and cameras become friendly units
  • **Group Prosthetic Malfunction**: Apply the "Prosthetic Malfunction" quick hack effect to enemies
  • **Mass Suicide**: Applies the "suicide" quick hack effect to enemies
  • **Group Rampage**: Apply the "Cyber Psycho" quick hack effect to enemies

🆕 Extra features

  • **Hack Comat NPCs**: Like the original mod, the "Hack Network" option is also available for unconscious NPCs (unless you have hacked their network in the past few minutes)
  • **Custom Netwalker Animation**: The original mod uses a cool Netwalker animation, but this animation may have issues after version 2.0 of the game. The module provides the option "Enable Netwalker grapple animation (buggy)" for players to choose

🔗 Mod Compatibility

  • **Daemon Netrunning Revamp**: Supports all virus programs provided by this module
  • **Breach protocol ping daemon**: Supports the module's ping and camera shutdown virus programs
  • **Better Netrunning**: only compatible with "Classic Mode"
  • **Radial Breach**: No known incompatibilities
  • **Stealth Finishers**: fully compatible starting from version 2.1.0
  • **Hacking Gets Tedious**: Fully compatible
  • **Breaching Breached**: Fully compatible

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
