This Mod uses the GTA5 camera movement method to replace the 2077 default fast movement method of reading; and can configure the speed, height and other related configurations according to our needs.
Installation method:
- Install CyberEngineTweaks: GitHub | | Netdisk
- Download Mod
- Place the "gtaTravel" folder into "Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods"
- Press "~" after entering the game to open the menu
- Enable conditions can be configured in the game
Note: Teleporting directly in a vehicle will not use the GTA perspective
Solution to garbled characters:
If you are using CET (Cyber Engine Tweaks) for the first time, you may have garbled Chinese characters. Here we need to manually set the font:
- Open the "bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\config.json" file
- Set "font_glyph_ranges" to "ChineseFull"
- Set "font_path" to "C:\Windows\Fonts\simhei.ttf"
- Save and restart the game
Troubleshooting:
Mod is invalid/has no effect?
- Make sure you don't have any other mods installed that affect fast travel, such as "Fast travel from anywhere 2 anywhere"
- Check whether "Enable GTA-style teleportation:" in miscellaneous settings is set correctly
- If you use teleport in a vehicle, it is normal that it cannot be used, because currently GTA-style teleport cannot be used in a vehicle.
Is the card owner during/after the move?
- First thing to try especially on slow pcs / with game on hdd, is to lower the max speeds on all paths
- If the loading interface appears when the camera is in the sky, please lower the "player teleport height"
- If the loading interface appears when the lens lands, use the same method as above to solve the problem.
Other questions
- If the player's head appears after teleporting, please turn off the "Show player head when teleporting" option in "Miscellaneous Settings"
- If you want the camera to move more smoothly, you can reduce the "Change Speed" option
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
