Player Statistics Tab This tab
Pretty self-explanatory -
Any value can be changed.
Appearance tab
"Save Preset" will save the character's appearance to a .preset file.
Load Preset will replace the character's appearance with that from the .preset file.
"Inventory" tab
The "Inventory" box lists all inventory found in the save file. This includes your player inventory, stashes, and any other containers for game saves. By default, your player inventory will be selected. Selecting another inventory will list all items in that inventory.
You can double-click any item listed to edit its quantity, flags, stats, and mod tree. (This is also where the "Make Legend" options are located. Some options may be grayed out depending on the item type. You can also double-click any node in the item mod tree to edit that node, or double-click a stat to edit the value of that property.
For example: To add extra damage to a weapon or extra armor to an item of clothing, click "New Constant" in its properties section. In the new window that pops up, enter "Additional" as the modifier, "Base Damage" or "Armor" as the attribute (depending on which you want), and enter the values you want. Click "Apply and Close" and you're good to go.
Mission Facts Tab
Click any row to edit the value of the corresponding task fact. Only valid integers (numbers) are accepted. I don't recommend changing any values here unless you know what you are doing, messing with the mission facts may cause problems that will only arise further in the game.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
