About this mod Machine translation
New character skin sketch. I did my best to complete it. I won't be updating other mod pages because this time I'm just focusing on facial skin textures and some things I'll share in the future. To avoid this mod already having too many options, I decided to release it as a new mod.
Make sure Material and Subsurface Scattering are set to High in the main menu.
Brief description
This mod uses the VTK header, but it does not rely on the original VTK header, the reason I want to do this is because:
- This only affects the player, so if you only choose to use skin tones, you won't touch non-player characters (NPCs), meaning it will use minimal VRAM, which is great for low to medium VRAM players (like myself).
- I have tried not using VTK meshes but just replacing the textures, but all attempts failed because the VTK OG mod always loads its textures making them stronger, not at all the quality I want to achieve.
About skin type
There are two versions, V1 is rougher and has more flaws, V2 is cleaner and looks younger, both have changed the 5 available skin types and will have options for eyeshadow and brows and no eyeshadow and brows. See the pictures to confirm the numbers. Make sure to only install one version at a time.
About skin details
This is a modded version of my alternate skins, along with some modifications I made to try and make them more natural to better match the new textures I'm working on. This will affect all character skins, from V to minor to major NPCs. This affects subsurface scattering, making the skin look less like fake plastic and more like real skin. Maybe not perfect, but it's the only option I've found in the game.
About details
This time I tried to make them better and look more realistic, it affects all skins of all characters in the game, like the one above. It will work even if a volume or complexity mod is installed, as long as said mod doesn't have its own version.
Detailed skin about NPC
This is a version with regular details from players to NPCs, it will affect almost all female NPCs in the game, because I say almost because some of the main NPCs may have their detailed maps, I've made this 2k as big as vanilla, so if you can run the game like vanilla then you can as well not worry about this issue. Note: This will also affect Female V's using original textures and heads.
Install:
Unzip using VORTEX or .7z, make sure to check your MOD folder if the files are still there even after installing with VORTEX.

compatibility
The skin texture is not compatible with any other skin texture mod, including VTK heads.
In my other mod: 4k Skin Textures and Body for Female V, only body textures are compatible with this mod, other files should not be used along with this mod as they do the same thing, but that one is more suitable for vanilla. need.
Morph Texture Removal - Cleaner and better skin details - If you get artifacts under certain lighting, or when you use a low FOV to take screenshots, use this mod to fix the problem together. This problem can occur especially when you activate ray tracing.
Final notes.
I barely have time to play games and mods, I mostly do that because I like to see how I can better texture my characters, so sometimes I may not be able to answer or make changes quickly, but I'll fix it as soon as possible if needed.
I know people may ask me for stick to male textures, but I'm not currently playing with stick to male V, maybe there will be in the future, but don't expect it anytime soon. However, there are many excellent 4k male textures out there, and my skin mods and microdetails might improve their quality if you want them.
Also, if you don't like my mods, just go away, I don't want to hear any malicious comments, otherwise you will be banned from all my mods, that's the e …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
