Install
- Install MelonLoader for Cursed Words.
- Launch the game once, then close it.
- Install this package with a -compatible mod manager, or extract the
package manually.
- If installing manually, put CursedWordsQuickRestart.dll into the game's
Mods/ folder.
Common Windows example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cursed Words\Mods\
Common Linux/Steam Deck example:
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Cursed Words/Mods/
Compatibility
Built against the Cursed Words Unity 6000.0.62f1 Mono build. Future game
updates may require a mod update if run restart methods or scene flow change.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
