water of life mod
生命之水mod
About this mod Machine translation
This mod is immortal, not just a trait that cheats itself. In order to gain the trait, you must meet some requirements and then perform 1 event consisting of 9 actions. During these 9 actions, you gain powerful character modifications, increase or reduce stress, and at the end of the event, you gain a simple trait called "Water of Life." On top of that, you can also pass on traits to your faithful servants, wives/husbands and children in 5 council positions via the Special Gift option.
The basic cost of the activity is 2k gold divided by your management skills. Therefore, the higher the skill, the lower the cost! This is one requirement to start the event, the second requirement is: your study skills must be equal to or greater than 25 points in order for you to translate the (tablet) book!
v1.2 changes
Added a nice red effect to the Special Gift option to make it more eye-catching when available.
Also extends the "Special Gift" option to your direct vassals in Council positions.
Remove it right after you're done with the hooded old man, so you have 0 chance of recruiting a super human AI.
v1.1 changes
Increased decision cooldown so you cannot press the decision multiple times while the game is paused.
Fixed the stress shock loss if you choose to forage and have the trait Master Hunter.
I'll let you decide if it's worth your time. Thank you for the time you spent on this page, and thank you!
Installation: All you have to do is place the 2 files provided in the archive into your C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod and open the file Water-of-Life.mod using Notepad++ then add the "path" like above and save.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
