About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds some realism/challenge to the gameplay and makes illnesses and pregnancy complications more relevant.
Main changes:
-)Modest increase in fertility overall - but fertility also declines more rapidly with age
Pregnancy is more risky and risk depends on health status
-) Especially the first pregnancy is more risky
-) Increase in common events of various diseases leading to increased mortality
-) Especially "pneumonia" - this disease is now more common in children and is more like a catch-all term for all typical teenage illnesses that don't exist in the game yet and were historically very dangerous and common
-) A much wider range of health constitutions at birth for all characters - some are born with better constitutions and don't have to fear disease as much, while for others the flu is more life-threatening
-)Rebalancing of medical care
-) Knights and commanders are at higher risk of being injured or maimed in battle
-) Genetic rebalancing: most traits have become more common and breeding for traits has become more difficult
result:
Characters are more difficult to transform into adults or elders, making dynasty management more challenging
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
