Custom color kingdom
自定义颜色王国
About this mod Machine translation
Author's original description:
This mod adds 2 player only decisions to change the map color and coat of arms of your primary title. So it works not just with kingdoms but counties, duchies and empires.
Important Notes:
This mod works by adding new unlanded titles, so you need to START A NEW GAME.
If you change the color of a title with this mod and then remove it, the color will not change back until you START A NEW GAME.
This mod adds Decisions, events and titles that alter the checksum. AKA NOT ACHIEVEMENT COMPATIBLE.
If you are playing as a culture that uses house or dynasty coa instead of title coa, you wont see any changes unfortunately.
Details:
The change realm color decision has no cost and lets the player switch between up to 16 colors.
The first 12 colors use predefined colors. The last 4 are marked as custom and I recommend players to set those to whatever colors you wish. The custom colors are by default set to some I pulled from a random generator.
You can change color definitions inside 01_cck_titles.txt which is would in the folder for this mod \common\landed_titles
example:
k_custom1_kingdom = { #currently pink
color = {232 118 202}
}
For anyone completely new to rgb colors: each number goes from 1-255, with the numbers representing level of red blue and green respectively.
permissions:
If anyone wants to modify, translate, or include this mod in another work, you have full permission as long as you give credit.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
