About this mod Machine translation
"There is a time for love and a time for hate, a time for war and a time for peace" Ecclesiastes 3:8 This is a very simple mod that allows church-type governments to wage a small war of their own using some basic casus belli options. Made for a friend who was frustrated with the "idle" gameplay of theocratic characters. To do this, I basically removed the flag that excludes theocratic governments from most reasons for war. The one exception is the Casus Conquests, which you still need to form Kingdom of Heaven to unlock ;) This is my first time modding (and hopefully there will be more to come!), so there will definitely be some bugs I'll try to fix as I continue to learn how to mod. One bug I'm aware of is that you still get a prompt that theocratic can't use casus belli, but this only appears if you don't have casus belli and the declare war button is greyed out. If you guys find any other issues, please let me know! I will try my best to keep updated as time allows.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
