Crimson Desert Keybinding Manager
If you've ever tried to rebind a key in-game and lost the associated action, this tool is for you! 🎮
There is currently a known issue in Crimson Desert where rebinding multiple keystrokes may break or overwrite the relevant binding settings. This editor allows you to directly manage the `user_input.save` file, thereby retaining the bindings you want without sacrificing other operations.
This version has been updated for **Patch 1.00.03** and contains the format for the current 45 operations.

✨ Tool functions
- **Loading and Editing**: Read and edit the `user_input.save` file.
- **Multibinding support**: Correct handling of duplicate/multiple binding lines (including dual slots for "Dodge" and "Aim/Defend/Focused Light").
- **Key combination capture**: Supports capturing keyboard + mouse key combinations (such as `mouseL`, `mouseR`, `mouseM`, `mouseX1`, `mouseX2`).
- **Export function**: Export to a `user_input.save` file that can be used directly.
- **Default Bindings**: Contains updated base/default bindings for version 1.00.03.
- **AutoSave**: Automatically save your edits locally in the browser.
⚠️ Tool limitations
- **Non-automatic patching**: Game files will not be automatically patched.
- **No Bypass Restrictions**: There is no way to bypass the restrictions of the game itself (some bindings are still hard-restricted by the game).
- **Unofficial Tool**: This is not an official tool from Pearl Abyss.
🚨 Known limitations (important)
- **In-Game Issue**: In-game rebinding issues for multi-binding operations still exist (which is why this tool is useful).
- **Non-rebindable keys**: **W/A/S/D** and **I/J/K** cannot be rebinded through this workflow.
- **Inconsistent Behavior**: There may be inconsistent behavior when binding **Punch/Kick** and **Heavy Attack** to unusual multi-key combinations.
- **File Difference**: Some user archives only store overrides, so not all values will appear as in the full base file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
