💎 **Already adapted to "Red Desert" version 1.0.4**
💎 Available in **standalone** and **Crimson Browser** compatible versions.

✨ Module Introduction
This is a simple mod designed to speed up most interactions in the game by adding double click as an alternative. The game still distinguishes between single and double-clicks (for example, pressing 'E' once to cancel, double-clicking 'E' to talk or pick up), but this is much faster than the original's way of requiring a button hold.
This module is mainly designed for those configurations where the UI has additional delays due to frame generation technology, but it is also useful for players who hate holding down confirmation operations for up to 1 second in the menu (such as **Confirm**, **Save**, **Load**, exit, etc.).
---
🎮 Available versions
The module is available in two types of versions:
- **Core Interactive Version**: Only affects the main interactive operations (**Dialogue**, pet petting, **pickup**, search, etc.).
- **Fully Interactive Version**: Changes all "button hold" interactions (including 1 second hold operations in menus).
---
📥 Installation Guide
Please install only one version.
- **Crimson Browser version (recommended)**:
- Copy the `Faster_Interactions` folder to the `Crimson Browser\mods` directory.
- Open Crimson Browser, click Mod Manager, then execute build, deploy, and finally start the game.
- **Stand-alone version (only used if you cannot set up Browser)**:
- Make sure you have verified game file integrity in Steam.
- Copy the `0012` and `meta` folders in the compressed package to the corresponding `0012` and `meta` folders in the game directory and overwrite them.
- Or, as an alternative, you can use the `0036` version (which is the new way the Browser handles pak mods).
---
🗑️ Uninstall method
- **Crimson Browser version**: Uninstall via Crimson Browser.
- **Standalone**: Delete the `6.paz` file in the `0012` folder, then **verify** the game file integrity in Steam.
---
🔧 Compatibility Notes
*The Crimson Browser version is compatible with any mod as long as it is installed correctly.
- The standalone version is compatible with any mod that does not affect the input mapping (0012 folder); in the case of the `0036` version, it is compatible with any mod that does not add the `0036` folder. Please choose a version with better compatibility based on your actual situation.
- Compatible with kindiboy's **Inventory Extender** module.
- ⚠️ **NOTE**: This mod only affects keyboard and mouse input.
---
⚠️ Known issues
In the inventory, the **"T" key** used to switch item groups still requires a hold.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
