ColorCrew - quick color changer

Change your forklift color on the fly with one button. Tap through every color in the game, then a couple of party modes: a disco strobe, a smooth rainbow sweep, and a red/blue police-light flash.

How it works

  • Press L3 (click the left stick) or C on the keyboard to step to the next option.
  • The options cycle in this order:
  • Default - your normal saved color (no override)
  • Each of the 7 colors - Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Pink, Red, Orange
  • Disco (fast) - rapid strobe through all the colors
  • Disco (smooth) - flows through the colors in rainbow order
  • Police - flashes red and blue
  • It only changes YOUR color, and it never overwrites your saved color (pick Default to go back).

Everyone sees it

The game syncs player color by its palette slot, so every option here uses a real slot. That means everyone in the lobby sees your color, including people who don't have the mod. No host needed either, it works whether you're hosting or joining.

Config

Settings live in BepInEx/config/com.hunter.colorcrew.cfg after the first launch:

  • CycleButton / CycleKey: rebind the controller button (default left-stick click) and keyboard key (default C).
  • DiscoFastSeconds (0.08), DiscoSmoothSeconds (0.6), PoliceSeconds (0.25): the speed of each party mode (lower = faster).
  • Enabled: master switch.

Notes

  • A true continuous rainbow gradient isn't possible while keeping it visible to non-mod players (the game only syncs the color slot, not a raw color), so the smooth mode flows through the 7 game colors in rainbow order.
  • Built for game version 1.1.9-6087, BepInEx 5.4.x.

Changelog

  • 0.3.0: First release. Button-cycle through all 7 colors plus disco-fast, disco-smooth (rainbow), and police (red/blue) modes. Fully visible to everyone in the lobby.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
