About this mod Author’s original text
CWOffline
you ever just specifically want to play Content Warning in a place where games are blocked in a certain \cough\ \cough\** establishment's firewall?
my lawyers have advised me to shut up.
WELL I HAVE THE SOLUTION FOR YOU! 👈
This mod will check if you're offline and disables the live service aspect accordingly.
features...what do you think it does?
but actually:
- force offline if you hate your friends
- allows you to play offline (obviously)
- disables game invites when offline
- CUSTOM API! - read below for details.
custom api
if your mod needs some sort of web service to function (like mine \cough\ \cough\**), you can easily mark this mod as a dependency and set up an assembly reference, and then use these functions when needed:
using CWOffline;
//...
if (CWOfflineAPI.IsGameOffline()) {
Modal.ShowError("Offline", "You cannot do if you're offline.");
};
// or...
if (CWOfflineAPI.IsGameOnline())
{
// do stuff if online here
}
//...
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
