Note: Mod works in Vanilla

For Players

This mod communicates with the OWO skin when certain events are detected in "Lethal Company" to give you haptic feedback. These are some of the currently implemented haptic effects:

Initial release, sensations include:

  • Exhaustion
  • Jumping
  • Big Slap pouncing at you
  • Submerging
  • Resurfacing
  • Pulling Lever
  • Holding Item
  • Being Stabbed
  • Healing
  • Being shot (if shot in the chest, you'll feel the bullet exit throughout your back and viceversa, the sensation will track exactly where the bullet hit you)
  • Being damaged
  • Suffocating/Drowning
  • Electrocution
  • Landing
  • Death

Can't Connect Your OWO Suit?

You can adjust the sensations you feel in the game simply by editing the ".owo" files in the "OWO" subfolder with the Sensation Creator. Sometimes the auto-connection fails, especially if your networks tends to filter some UDP packages. If you want to set a manual IP instead, you can place a file called "OWO_Manual_IP.txt" in the "Mods" directory, containing just one line with your desired IP, e.g. "192.168.1.25", or several lines with several IPs for multiple connections. That will make the mod connect to this IP instead of auto-searching for the OWO skin in the network.

Extra

To other OWO modders, the OWO.dll assembly is modified to add a plugin attribute to it.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
