Install instructions

Manual install instructions

Install the SimpleChat mod.
Go to the Releases page and download the latest version. The filename will be something along the lines of juanjp600-AeiouCompany-*.zip.
Extract the downloaded file into its own folder in your BepInEx/plugins folder.

Build instructions

Get the latest version of Visual Studio, or your.NET IDE of choice. You'll need at least.NET 8.
Clone this repository, then set up the SharpTalk submodule with git submodule init followed by git submodule update.
Go to where Content Warning is installed, and copy the contents of Content Warning_Data/Managed into AeiouContent/Dependencies.
Copy CWChat.dll from SimpleChat into AeiouContent/Dependencies.
Build AeiouContent.

The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
