UN Earth Maps Pack with TSL Earth Maps
The starting location bug in the Fall '17 patch prompted me to decide to create my own TSL Earth map in the spirit of the out-of-order map.
I'm happy to share this huge globe ("mapzilla") on a 198x199 United Nations flag map. It is the azimuthal equidistant Earth projection of the North Pole.
It has an appointment. 70% water, the Sahara, the deserts of Arabia and Australia, the Amazon and the African rainforests of Africa and the habitable frozen Antarctica. 198x199.
You need top-notch hardware and a graphics card (with lots of VRAM) (basically a supercomputer). Or turn the graphics settings to minimum.
If you can't play the entire map ("mapzilla") as a consolation, maps of both hemispheres "Top" and "Bottom", "New World", "Ancient World" and "Oceania" are included in the map pack.
For an entry-level gaming machine map generation is:
Hemisphere map ("top" and "bottom"): about 5 minutes.
Ancient World: <4 minutes.
New World: About 2 minutes.
Oceania: about 1 minute.
Save game load: ~1 minute.
TSL (beta)

I'm very exited to share this ginormous Earth ("mapzilla") at 198x199 of the map on the United Nations flag. It is the Azimuthal Equidistant Projection of Earth from the north pole.
It has approx. 70% water, a Saharan, Arabian & Australian desert, an Amazonian & Subsaharan African rainforest and an inhabitably frozen Antarctica. 198x199.
You'll need top of the line hardware and a graphics card (with lots of VRAM) for it (a supercomputer basically). Or turn your graphics settings to min.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
