The Spirit of Hadrian (Roman Trait)
I didn't want to deal with the artwork necessary to create an entirely new leader (I'm not sure we'd be able to actually do that given the way things stand)... so I decided I'd make a feature to have Trajan channel his successor in the spirit of Hadrian.
Hadrian was a humanist, a traveler, and a follower of all things Greek. That said, he was arguably the most obsessive builder Rome had ever seen. Bother Nero because 4 years of building your own house shouldn't count. Regardless, Hadrian rebuilt cities, markets, and temples (especially the Temple of Venus and the Pantheon) while traveling throughout the empire for ten years, trying to bring all the cultures he encountered into the empire.
Thus, Hadrian's Spirit includes +3 influence points, 1 additional builder cost, as well as bonuses to construction zones and (smaller bonuses) to build wonders.

Hadrian was a humanist and a traveller and an obsessor over all things Hellenic. That said, he was arguably the most compulsive builder Rome had seen. Discounting Nero because building your own house for 4 years shouldn't count. Anyway, Hadrian rebuilt cities and markets and temples (notably rebuilt the Temple of Venus and The Pantheon) while travelling throughout the empire for a decade trying to bring all of the subjected culture into the empire.
As such, The Spirit of Hadrian includes +3 Influence Points, 1 extra builder charge, and bonuses to building Districts and (smaller bonuses) to building Wonders.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
