About this mod Machine translation
Quo's Fewer AI Tantrums AI Calm
Quo's Fewer AI Tantrums AI Calm
This mod is intended to normalize behavior and make the gaming experience slightly less schizophrenic. This mod aims to bring the gameplay closer to the experience of Civilization IV and V and provide an experience as if you were actually fighting against these great leaders in history rather than randomly scrolling.
Note that this mod does increase the difficulty of the game slightly, as leaders are more likely to get an agenda that aligns with their strengths. You're not meant to be everyone's friend, but this mod will calm the world down.
compatibility
Requires Aztec DLC. (If you're comfortable with SQL, you can remove the reference to Montezuma in the file to make it work. Thanks to SuperSylph for pointing this out).
Mod is compatible with other "Quo" mods. I recommend playing Quo's Better France and Spain mods to offset France's loss of effectiveness in locked agendas.
Random agendas target specific leaders
Random hidden agendas are now locked to each leader below (see chart)
This is intended to promote better artificial intelligence and more accurate representation of each leader
You can remove this feature and keep the rest of the mod by following the instructions at the bottom of Code.sql in the mod file
leader-specific
Changes These changes are intended to make these leaders more approachable, like their actual historical counterparts.
Saladin should now be slightly annoyed by rival religious practices
King Kong is more calm about you not bringing them religion
Pedro is less angry with the great people
Pericles was angry at your interference in the city-state
All leadership changes
All leaders should be less annoyed with units near their borders (work in progress, not fully fixed yet)
All leaders should be less biased or against you towards the First Impression random roll when you first meet them
All leaders should be quicker to forgive broken promises
Leaders involved in resource manager agendas should be less angry with you for exploring them
work in progress
Ideally, hidden agendas should no longer be hidden because they are always the same. However, this is a bit tricky as it seems to involve editing lua files. Postponed to the future.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
