I got tired of logos and My2K and listened to Sean Bean... thanks to some people and Reddit... I took care of it...

This is too, but I think ModMonkeys has more out there than this, so...

what it did

• Replace the starting company video logic with a 1 second blank screen
• Remove My2K logo from home screen
• Disable Firaxis Live/My2K server connection
• Delete Sean Bean’s speech introducing “The Dawn of Man” and civilization
• Sorry Sean Bean, like almost all of your characters, you're going to be killed off!

Known issues

1.This is for PC/Windows. I don't know about Mac architecture. If anyone on a Mac wants to achieve compatibility by moving the contents of the folders they need, please go ahead.

2.Official updates/patches will require reinstallation

How to install it

• Read the file list below and rename its extension to .ORIGINAL <- CRITICAL FOR RESTORE
• Unzip Mynex_QuickStart.zip to the directory in the Civilization 6 basic installation.
• When it asks to overwrite the file, say "Yes".

How to uninstall IT

Go into the directory where the files are placed, delete the modified files (listed below), and remove .ORIGINAL from files with that extension.

compatibility

This mod replaces 5 files;

<civ6 installation location>\Base\Assets\UI\FiraxisLive\My2K.lua

<civ6 installation location>\Base\Assets\UI\FrontEnd\LoadScreen.lua

<civ6 installation location>\Base\Assets\UI\FrontEnd\MainMenu. lua

<civ6 installation location>\Base\Assets\UI\FrontEnd\MainMenu.xml

<civ6 installation location>\Base\Platforms\Windows\Movies\Logos.bk2

If another mod changes these files, a conflict will occur.
