Installation instructions
- Unzip the zip file.
- The contents of the More Great Merchants subdirectory should be copied into the Mods folder (.../Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods/).
- The contents of the Resources_Assets subdirectory should be copied into your Civ VI game root directory (e.g..../steamapps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization VI), overwriting the 2 existing files to add the new art reference. You should back up these files first - use at your own risk! This is only necessary because we don't yet know how to publish the modified artdef file in the mod - once we do that it should be possible to repackage it into a proper mod. (Instructions created by Deliverator)
Acknowledgments: Special thanks to Deliverator for helping me get units to appear correctly in the game!
Compatibility: This mod is compatible with Deliverator's MOAR Units. The Units_Great_People.artdef file is separate from the regular Units.artdef file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
