Magil's Wondrous Wonders
Quick note: This improves World Wonders and brings back National Wonders. If you feel like Wonders aren't worth the investment, or are just like the National Wonders concept in previous Civilization games, this mod might be for you!
Originally, I conceptualized this mod as simply adding National Wonders to the game. But as I continued to work on them, I realized that I made them more interesting and powerful than the wonders of the world! So I scaled them down. But I don't want my ideas to be lost. So I decided... Wonders of the World in general are a bit "meh," at least that's the impression I get from a variety of people. The competition for early world wonders isn't very exciting, as they weren't big enough to consider interrupting expansion or conquest, and later wonders are often considered too expensive for their relatively small impact.
so. I decided to completely change the Wonders of the World and transfer some of the ideas I originally had for National Wonders to them. I think National Wonders is still fun, so I've done that. However, this modpack is modular, and you can delete the WorldWonders folder to change World Wonders back to their default in-game state (leaving National Wonders), or delete the NationalWonders folder to just play the World Wonder overhaul.
NOTE: Thanks to thecrazyscot for the More Theming Bonus mod. I was working on my own theme tweak for National Wonders when it popped up and it did pretty much everything I wanted.
These mod changes are contained in a separate xml file ThemingBonus.xml. To make this mod run with more theme bonuses and/or Omnibus, please delete this xml file from my mod folder.
How to install
Extract the WondrousWonders folder to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
