About this mod Machine translation
Leader Ban Modpack Leader Ban Modpack
These mods only remove the human front-end capabilities and the AI to select leaders for the new game. You can still play saved games with the leader as it won't delete their actual data.
This modpack requires you to copy and install mods from its database. It's better this way because your "Additional Content" menu isn't populated with dozens of mods.
For multiplayer games, all players must have the same leader ban mode installed in order to play together.
remind
- Mod results become unpredictable (some may not work) when you try to use more than about 7-8 leader ban mods at the same time.
- If you want to disable more than 7 leaders, the results may be better if the files are merged, but I haven't tested it yet.
Install:
- Save the modpack folder in a location of your choice for future reference.
- Browse the main folder, there are folders for leaders separated by game versions (Vanilla, Vanilla DLC and Rise and Fall Leaders).
- Open Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods/ and create the "Mods" folder if it doesn't exist.
- Go back to the modpack database folder, select the leader's module you may want to disable ("NO <Leader name>"), and copy the individual folders into the "Mods" folder.
- Your installed personal leader ban mode can now be turned on and off in add-on content when starting a game.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
