Extended Diplomacy Ribbon Diplomacy Extension
Do you want to take your diplomacy game to the next level without earning an accounting degree? Do you want to see all relevant political information in one place to make a quick and optimal decision without diving into countless different windows and sub-windows? If you answered yes, EDR is for you.
This mode extends the Diplomatic Ribbon to display all relevant diplomatic information in one place. All the displayed information is available in the game in vanilla Civ6, but is not always available in different places in the UI. EDR combines all the information into a simple, readable and always-present combination of tooltips, mouseovers and clicks. This is an important model for serious diplomats.
Main features:
+ Compatible with vanilla civ 6 and Expansion Rise and Fall
+ Does not affect save games or achievements: plug in or out at any time!
+Non-cheat policy: All information in EDR can be found in Civilization 6
+ Civ 6 expansion functionality is used in EDR, so this mod does not touch any original game files, but expansion related files. By doing this it should be resilient to patches (we'll see soon)
origin:
This mod is an enhancement of the original extension I coded for CQUI. I didn't like CQUI's banner hanging over the ribbon, so I decided to create a tooltip that is powerful, extensible and flexible. The Diplo Ribbon in this mod is greatly expanded and works better than the original I coded.
Extensions:
+ Leader icon tooltips display the most relevant political, statistical and economic information for the corresponding civilization; information is color-coded, following the same color pallet as the rest of the UI.
+Tooltips include a summary of tradable resources displayed within the trading view for quick reference
+ Relationship icons show diplomacy modifiers, color coding and total value
+ With a simple combination of mouse and keys or buttons, the player can select any leader and quickly see his/her relationship to other leaders
+ Right click on the leader icon to go directly to the trade view (or peace agreement if at war and the counter reaches zero)
How to use:
+ Show expanded tooltips at any time on mouseover of any leader
+Hover over relationship icons to see diplomacy modifiers
+ Right click on the leader icon to go directly to the trade view window
+ If at war and only after the peace counter has expired, right click on the leader icon to enter a peace trade
+ Hold down the CTRL key and mouse-hover, or middle-click on any leader icon to change the relationship icon of other leaders to quickly see the relationship of the selected leader; the gold circle indicator changes to the selected leader
+ If the selected leader has not met all civilizations yet, those that are not will show the default "Unknown" icon and have no relationship
+ To return to the default display of the Diplo Ribbon (selected player leader), simply mouse-hover, middle-click or right-click on your leader's icon
I hope you enjoy this great diplomat tool as much as I do!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
