About this mod Machine translation
Cyrus the Great leads Persia in this Mod of Civilization Persia
first persian empire
Leader/Cyrus the Great
Characteristics of Civilization/Gate to All Nations
Each envoy sent to a city-state counts as two if its suzerain government is different from Persia's.
Leader Traits/Cyrus Charter
+2% gold for each city-state you are the overlord of.
Unique Unit/Immortal
Persian unique Ancient Era unit replaces Spearman. It's cheaper to build and heal at the end of a turn, even after moving or attacking.
Unique District/Apadana
An area unique to Persian housing and economic growth. Replace the central business district. It provides housing like an Aqueduct and generates +1 culture on internal trade routes. It must be built near the center of the city.
---
This is the first version of Persian civilization. This civilization is completely playable!
Persia was an incredible civilization that used taxation, irrigation, wages, art, and warfare to create a stable, multicultural empire.
As a CIV, Persia manipulated the competition of governments to free themselves from the tyranny of their neighbors.
It has something for you too. City-state allies are powerful, especially when Cyrus is slightly off the top.
I will update this once we get the SDK and I will be looking for a replacement leader in the near future.

Installation instructions
Extract the files into the Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods directory
In order for Art to work properly, unzip the contents of "DreadHerring's Icon" to
Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Sid Meier's CIVILIZATION VI/Base/Assets/UI/Icons
This will replace the current file to accommodate my icon, so backing up the file is always recommended.
This is a workaround for the missing SDK, providing a copy of the file without my modifications if the original file is required.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
