Important information

  • Sorting in the Policies tab will not be implemented.
  • Please note that the information displayed in the Earnings tab may differ from the information displayed elsewhere in the game. This is how the original Firaxis code works, mods don't change it. I added some missing information in the common modifiers, but implemented all the modifiers too many times. However, if there are differences and ideas on how to better improve the reporting, I'd be grateful.
  • Stacking policies. Policies are calculated based on actual current yields. Since some modifiers may affect the same object, it is possible that some yields may be evaluated twice. I haven't come across a situation like this, but there are hundreds of modifiers, many created in custom mods. Apparently not all of these are supported by the mod. As for now supporting all vanilla and R&F policies required, as well as several other related policies.

3A. The returns of the actual activated strategy may be affected by this.

  • The effect is not obvious. An exclamation mark will appear when an effect is not implemented in the mod. This is usually a non-gain effect such as speed miracles, gaining extra xp, etc. You can basically ignore it, it helps me keep track of what I need to achieve. It should only appear on policies that do not affect turn rate. If you find a modifier that affects yield without proper handling of the strategy - please let me know and I will implement support for this modifier. Furthermore, you don't need to check them again and again because they are always the same in every turn, every game. They relate to the internal configuration of the game, not the current situation in the game.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
