Module introduction: This module is a test branch of "Realistic Population 2" and a module for the city construction simulation game "Cities: Skylines". It was designed to improve the population and consumption mechanics in the game to make cities more realistic. The developers of this mod have also previously created Realistic Population Revisited and Realistic Population and Consumption Mod, which themselves are sequels to other mods.
This module uses the Harmony framework (provided by Andreas Pardeike) and is implemented through the Cities Harmony module (provided by boformer). With each version update, this mod will undergo calculation and data format changes, but there may also be some undiscovered bugs and problems; therefore, you need to be careful when using this mod.
Additional notes:
Current date: June 17, 2023 03:38:14
For testing only, not for general use.
Update 2.2 is currently being tested to update previous versions of the main workshop branch.
Before testing, please unsubscribe from the original version.
This is a beta branch of Realistic Population 2, a sequel to Realistic Population Revisited (which is a sequel to WhitefangGreytail's Realistic Population and Consumption mod, which is a sequel to Kundan's PopBalance mod...)
As a beta branch, this version may contain undiscovered bugs, and changes in calculations and data formats in each update may unbalance built cities. Like all betas, use caution on any "reserved" cities (and always have backups, just in case).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
