Installation
- Install BepInEx 5
Download BepInEx_x64_5..zip and unzip all contents into the game's installation directory, typically C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Cities Skylines II
- The installation directory should now include the BepInEx folder, doorstop_config.ini, winhttp.dll
- Download zip from the release page and extract them into the Cities Skylines II/BepInEx/plugins folder
- Launch the game, mods should be loaded automatically.
Compatibility with other mods
This mod will be incompatible with other mods that modify/target:
- Game.Policies.ModifiedSystem
- Game.Policies.RouteModifierInitializeSystem
- Game.UI.InGame.VehicleCountSection
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Code mods go into the Mods folder inside the game directory and must be enabled from the in-game Mods menu.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
