About this mod Author’s original text
Traffic Lights Enhancement Alpha
- Set traffic lights to various predefined signal modes
- Guide available here
- Compatible with version 1.1.0f1
This mod stores extra data in your saves to provide additional functionality. Once the mod is removed, traffic lights and junctions should revert to default settings when a road update is triggered, but this cannot be guaranteed.
You cannot downgrade this mod to an older version. Cities saved with the new version are not compatible with previous versions.
If you found any issues within the mod, please report them on the issue tracker.
Warning: These modifications are highly experimental. Your game may crash more frequently, and your save files could be corrupted.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Code mods go into the Mods folder inside the game directory and must be enabled from the in-game Mods menu.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
