Flatland
A truly flat map, with no hills, no bodies of water, and no holes, you can build anywhere you wish! Feel free to use the Terraforming tools to add hills or make holes to manually make bodies of water. You have access to the edge of the map at the start so you can import/export any recsources right away.
Manual Installation
- Go to the following path in a file exploring app (WinRar, Windows File Explorer, etc.):
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Maps
If the folder does not exist, check to see if you have the Map Installer Mod installed.
- Drag and Drop (or just Copy) the following two files into the folder:
Flatland.cok and Flatland.cok.cid
- You should be done! Hop into the game (with your mods enabled) and create a new game, and then pick the map! Have fun!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Code mods go into the Mods folder inside the game directory and must be enabled from the in-game Mods menu.
