Allegheny Ridges is a 100% handmade map with realistic scaling for slopes, rivers, and valleys. Plenty of flat space BUT divided by ridges, valleys, rivers, streams, floodplains, and graded mountain passes. You'll need to space areas out, have more than 1 griddy industrial area, and plan routes to resources in order to make the best of it. Map is graded to allow water flow from the hills to the great river at the bottom.
- All connections
- Lots of resources all over
- Trees vary by terrain height for realism
- Flowing water from springs and edge connections
- Multiple river valleys to choose to develop or leave for natural splendor.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Code mods go into the Mods folder inside the game directory and must be enabled from the in-game Mods menu.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
