Difficulty and loot adjustments

🎮 Module Introduction

This mod gives you complete control over your Borderlands 4 gaming experience! Whether you want a more relaxed adventure or a more challenging battle, there is something for you in 14 different versions. ✨

⚔️ Damage/Money/Loot/XP Adjusted Version

**Easy Mode Series:**

  • 🌱 **Easy 1**: +50% damage caused, -50% damage received, +50% money and experience points, slightly improved loot quality
  • 💧 **Easy 2**: +100% damage caused, about -65% damage received, +100% money and experience points, improved loot quality
  • 🔥 **Easy 3**: +300% damage caused, about -80% damage received, +300% money and experience points, significantly improving the quality of loot

**Hard Mode Series:**

  • 🛡️ **Difficulty 1**: +50% damage taken, -35% damage dealt
  • 🍀 **Difficulty 1 (with lucky loot)**: Same as above, but with improved loot quality
  • ⏳ **Hard Slow Version**: -40% damage done, +40% damage taken, about -40% experience, very slight loot luck boost
  • ⚡ **Hard 2**: +100% damage taken, -50% damage dealt

**Special Edition:**

  • 🚀 **5X EXP**: Original settings, but x5 EXP
  • 🌟 **10000x experience value**: Original setting, but experience value x10000 (one battle to level 50)
  • 💰 **5x money**
  • 🎯 **100x money/experience/loot quality**

🎁 Pure loot adjusted version

  • 🔵 **Maximum Loot Luck** - Even distribution, mostly blue loot, some green, purple and gold
  • 🟣 **Purple Loot Lucky** - Most of the loot is purple, with occasional blue and gold (suitable for farming practical slots and exclusive BOSS loot)
  • 🟠 **Super Loot Luck** - Legendary items only (where possible); note that generic Legends may replace exclusive BOSS loot
💡 **IMPORTANT NOTE**: Improving loot quality will affect all loot sources, including vending machines, BOSS, item piles, etc. The vending machines themselves have higher quality loot - this is a vanilla mechanic.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
