Sequence manager application

📋 **Sequence Manager App** is a multifunctional tool designed to help users efficiently compare, organize and manage serial numbers or similar string data. Designed to simplify sequence number research and compilation, the app allows users to merge strings, view patterns, store master lists locally, and easily copy sequences. Whether you're a researcher, developer or sequence enthusiast, this tool can help you optimize your workflow.

---

✨ Feature Highlights

  • **Merge Tab**: merge two input strings using customizable merge logic (test feature)
  • **Sequence Viewer Tab**: Analyze sequence lists, detect patterns, similarities and differences, support adding, deleting or downloading annotations
  • **Sequence Super Bank Tab Page**: Create and manage tagged master sequence lists, support batch import and copy functions, automatically save to local bank.txt file

---

🛠️ System requirements

  • **Python**: 3.6 or higher
  • **OS**: Windows, macOS or Linux (tested on Windows)
  • **Dependencies**: Use built-in Python libraries (tkinter, re, os), no additional installation required

🎯 Tutorial

1. Explore the interface

Once launched, you will see three tabs at the top:

  • **Combiner**: used to merge two strings
  • **Sequence Viewer**: for analyzing and tube sequence lists
  • **Sequence Super Bank**: for creating and storing tagged master lists

2. Use merge tabs

  • Enter content in the "String1" and "String2" text boxes
  • Click the "Merge" button to see the results
  • *Note: The merge feature is experimental and input may need to be adjusted to achieve ideal results*

3. Using the Sequence Viewer tab

  • Click "Add Sequence" or "Batch Add Sequence" to enter data
  • View and manage sequences in the Sequence List box
  • "Annotation/Pattern" section automatically analyzes sequence features
  • Support downloading analysis results to .txt file

4. Using the Serial Super Bank tab

  • Add individual sequences or batch import (format: "tag | sequence")
  • Click the "Copy" button to quickly copy the sequence to the clipboard
  • Data is automatically saved to the local bank.txt file

---

💡 Tips for use

  • **Merge feature limitations**: If the results are not ideal, try adjusting the input length or spacing
  • **File Permissions**: Make sure you have write permissions on the save directory and run as administrator if necessary

🌟 *This tool is especially suitable for researchers and developers who need to process large amounts of sequence data, making sequence management simple and efficient! *

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
