This mod replaces the 6 types of aggression relics with the 6 types of friendship relics corresponding to the 6 hunter hunters. So you can see what Anarchy did to El Salvador, enjoy the money shot with Zer0, and see what B0ring Axton is like. More details on the impact of relics are below.

Installation and compatibility

Install using BLCMM:

Install BLCMM

In BLCMM>Tools>Set the mod's Game Files: Enable Mod Support option, and any other options you might want.

Open FriendshipRelics.blcm in BLCMM (or use File > Import Single mod if you want to combine it with other mods)

In BLCMM > File > Save As: Select "Open BL2 Binaries Directory" and save it under any name you like (e.g. myfriends.blcm)

Launch your game and enter the main menu with new game, character selection, and more.

Press "Esc" to exit the title menu, "Press any key to continue" (this step may not be necessary depending on your platform).

Open the console (using the keys you selected when setting up the game files for mods in BLCMM) and enter for example "exec myfriends.blcm".

Close the console and you're good to go.

Relics of Krieg requires the Spirit DLC to be fully functional.

The Tiny TLC DLC is required to display friendship attributes correctly on relics (but they will still work without it).

You can try using BLCMM to combine it with other mods. However, there is a risk of incompatibility:

Relics of Friendship frees and repurposes 10 vanilla attributes. There may be conflicts with mods that use these properties in their vanilla form. Gear that has the highest risk of character rework/skill tweaks and provides some player stat bonuses. That said, if you stay away from any modded skills or equipment items that provide damage resistance and/or team bonuses, you should be fine. Otherwise, it may not crash the game, but most likely make the Relics of Friendship not work as expected.

Relics of Friendship steal some of the performance properties of other basic relics (Vitality, Protection, Resistance, Storage, Strength). Therefore, some display issues may occur when combined with mods that touch those other artifacts.

The Relic of Friendship also (optionally) messes with the Terramorphous Relic's Blood and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Shield. Again, potential conflicts with any mod touching these two projects.

Overall, Friendship Artifacts aren't particularly high on the list of universally compatible mods. I haven't tested it, but I'd expect at least some kind of conflict with UCP, or idk Reborn and stuff like that. But perhaps no game can be broken.

balance and difficulty

It goes without saying that this mod is completely balanced and definitely not a cheat mode.

In fact, this mod also increases enemy health and damage (by 1%).

Therefore, you can safely tell yourself and your friends that the overall difficulty of the game has actually increased.
