After completing the Reshade installation, navigate to the game folder. For me it was D:/ProgramFilesx(86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/borderlands2/Binaries/Win32
And copy the DRASTIC preset file there.
Start borderlands 2 and wait for Reshade to load. When it's done hit LSHIFT+F2. There should be a "+" symbol at the top of the popup window. Click on it and type "reshadesetting.txt" (without the quotes)
That should be it!
You may need to check the settings to make sure Reshade is running in "Performance Mode", but it should already be there. Hit LSHIFT + F2 to close and enjoy!
NOTE: The file "reshadesetting.txt" is actually empty. don’t worry. It loads additional "reshadesetting.ini" file with data. I'm not sure if loading an empty .txt file is an unnecessary step if you can just load the .ini. I haven't tried it myself. Just an FYI.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
