About this mod Machine translation

notes:

  • All features are optional, if you just want the console you can accept it.
  • Run the game once before installation, this sets up the game (prerequisites) and generates the .ini file.

What it can do:

  • Removed Nvidia and 2k videos on startup, which makes games start faster
  • Removed story introduction movie
  • Switch to new splash screen
  • Enable crazy physics
  • Removed unnecessary prerequisites, readme files and Eulas (saved ~140 MB)
  • Create backups of current profiles and restore them later
  • Execute enable console command in game by pressing ~ (Tilde) key

Install:

  • Place Ultimate Folder and Installer.bat in the borderslands directory

Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Borderlands\

  • Run Installer.bat
  • Press 1 and then ENTER to start the full installation. (Should be soon)
  • After the first part is completed, press any key to complete the installation and exit

If you want to uninstall in the future, keep the installer.bat and Ultimate folders

What a "full install" is:

  • Remove NVidia and 2k videos that play when you start the game

  • Removed unnecessary prerequisites, readme files and Eulas (saved ~140 MB)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
